<p>Europol, together with the Spanish authorities, has stopped drug trafficking along a known smuggling route across the Atlantic. The authorities intercepted eight vessels and seized eleven tonnes of cocaine and 8.5 tonnes of hashish in the operation, which lasted two weeks in April. 54 people were arrested.</p><p>The operation is part of Europol's investigation into an increasingly common method
